Namu

Connections between the self and nature are explored through the building of material culture, personal mythology, and a collage of medieval and folk references.

Namu is a system in which interactions with the brand will create intimate relationships with the outdoors as one re-engages in acts of care.

With each garment, users set upon a series of scavenger hunts within the green spaces of NYC while participating in activities like meditation, foraging, and field journaling.  With each space explored, collectible charms are unlocked.

Made solely from natural fibers, antique materials are also incorporated to deepen the story of each garment.  Garments not only guide the user in becoming a part of the fable, but are also used as artifacts of their memory with the land.
