19th century volumes and silhouettes are referenced using upcycled vintage and contemporary garments, investigating the beginning of the Anthropocene and its connections to our current climate crisis.

Embroidery and embellishments using repurposed threads, found trinkets, and deadstock Swarovski crystals tell stories of this man-made era, focusing specifically on humanity’s pervasive relationship with water from oil spills to acidification.  Viewers are encouraged to remember our past while questioning their actions for a possible future.
